Many of Jesus’ most pivotal sermons were given on mountain tops.  In the days of the Old Testament, God was in Heaven and mountains were a way to get close to the heavens.  Between breathtaking views and spiritual revelations, mountains became symbols of being close to God.  Mountains became a place to experience God, and they still are. The Summit brings young people closer to God.
